New Collaborations: Muskoka Waste Management and King Township Visit VCycene

Last week, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting a group of passionate leaders from The District Municipality of Muskoka’s Waste Management and Environmental Services. We were joined by Commissioner James Steele, Director Renee Recoskie, and Manager Andrea Roberts, for a productive discussion about a potential pilot project with our LILA composter. Their insights and expertise were invaluable as we explored the possibilities for sustainable waste management in Muskoka using our innovative composting solution.

The excitement didn’t stop there. We were also honoured to invite Brent King from King Township, who brought along his daughter to further enrich the conversation. Their presence highlighted the importance of local community engagement and education in building a greener, more sustainable future.

A special thanks goes to Sep Assadian and Nima Khadem Mohtaram, whose support in facilitating this visit was instrumental in ensuring everything ran smoothly.

At VCycene, we are committed to developing strong partnerships that support our mission of turning food waste into treasure through our LILA composter. Here’s to the exciting opportunities and collaborations ahead as we work together toward a more sustainable future!

Stay tuned for more updates as this potential pilot project unfolds!
