LILA Composter Begins a New Chapter with the Township of King
We are proud to announce a meaningful milestone for our company and our flagship product, LILA Pro, the home electric composter. This week, two LILA units were delivered to the Township of King Municipal Centre. We made progress towards our long-term collaboration on waste reduction, sustainability, and community impact.
The Township of King is well known for its strong environmental values, natural landscapes, and commitment to building a green community. By adopting this new technology with VCycene, they are taking a step forward in advancing their sustainability initiatives.

Our Co-Founder & CEO, George Yin, with Giorgia Morris-Cefis of King Township.
Why this Collaboration Matters
- ● Community Sustainability: Food waste remains a global challenge based on the data from the United Nations Environment Programme; millions of tonnes are sent to landfills each year, and organic waste becomes one of the largest contributors to methane emissions. By bringing LILA Pro into the community, King Township illustrates an example of making the right decision to reduce waste within the community.
- ● Proven technology with real-world impact: LILA Pro composts everyday food scraps into nutrition-rich soils within 7 to 14 days, under a process that is quiet, safe, and without odor. This installation not only validates our leading technology but also provides real-world insights that support future environmental improvements.
- ● Building a sustainable future together: This collaboration represents more than just a product placement; it represents a shared step toward a circular lifestyle. The compost generated by LILA Pro can be used to enrich strong and clean soil around municipal gardens and educational community landscapes. LILA Pro creates value from waste and carries on with the responsibility of protecting the world.
Our next steps together
Our team will continue working closely with the Township of King to ensure the performance, collect feedback, and explore more opportunities for the local schools or residential programs. These marks only represent one milestone of a broader vision.
We extend our gratitude to the Township of King for welcoming LILA and supporting our mission. Together, we will build up a greener, smarter, and more sustainable future.
